Welcome to Weingrad & Weingrad, a legacy of legal excellence spanning over nine decades. Established in 1932 by my father, our firm has been an integral part of the legal landscape, initially situated in the iconic Empire State Building. Today, under my stewardship, we proudly continue our tradition of exceptional service from our current location.
With a dedicated team we specialize in litigating corporate and commercial cases for major entities, high net worth individuals, and those facing unique challenges, including individuals with mental disabilities. Beyond our corporate endeavors, we are committed to providing pro bono representation, ensuring access to justice for all. We are honored to accept assignments from the United States District Court, furthering our dedication to legal advocacy.
For over 54 years, I have served as President and Partner of our esteemed firm. My illustrious career includes exclusive representation for NYSE Corporation, McLean Trucking Company, and Home Insurance Company. Additionally, I have held the prestigious position of President of the Murray Hill Committee for over 23 years, championing historic preservation efforts.
One notable milestone includes my collaboration with Jacqueline Kennedy to expand the Murray Hill Historic District, culminating in the inclusion of Grand Central Station. This exemplifies our firm’s commitment to community involvement and landmark achievements.

1st Building-Owned & Operated
In 1962 founder of Weingrad & Weingrad, embarked on a bold endeavor that would solidify his legacy for generations to come. With a keen eye for opportunity and an unwavering commitment to his craft, he set his sights on acquiring a permanent home located in New York at 233 East 35th Street for his esteemed law firm.
1964
Higher Grounds: 50 Years of Legal Brilliance – Empire State Building
In 1964, Weingrad & Weingrad, made a monumental decision that would elevate his firm to new heights—quite literally. With a vision as grand as the city itself, he orchestrated the relocation of his law firm to the iconic Empire State Building, a symbol of New York’s indomitable spirit and boundless ambition. For five decades, the 77th floor of the Empire State Building served as more than just an office space; it was a sanctuary where justice prevailed and dreams took flight.
